Facts on Facebook:

  • There are more than 300 million active Facebook users
  • 50% of active users log on to Facebook in any given day
  • The fastest growing demographic on Facebook is those 35 years old and older
  • Average user has 130 friends on Facebook
  • More than 8 billion minutes are spent on Facebook each day (worldwide)
  • There are more than 45 million status updates each day
  • More than 10 million users become “fans” of Facebook pages each day

What do these statistics mean? Well… simply put this is where your customers and clients are.  This is where they share ideas, experiences, and life.  You need to be here to participate with your customers.  Joining a social media site like Facebook will give you insight on what your customer is looking for and how you can bring it to them.  Not only are you getting your product in front of your clients but you too will be participating in social media.  You can share your ideas, experiences and life with your clients; you too can become a “fan” of businesses you support; most of all you can be apart of an online community.  Did we mention this is FREE?!  The only commitment is time and participation.  Put “Check on Facebook” on your calendar daily.  As times goes by you will start keeping up automatically and participating naturally.

Not sure what to talk about on social media sites? That topic will be coming soon.  Call us if you just cannot wait until that post: 208-861-9841 or Valerie@JDaeDesigns.com
